Depends on the landord, as "Sherry" is not a "regulated" drink, like Gin, Whisky, Brandy, Rum and Vodka, which have to be served from sealed dispensers called "Optics" but the size of the measure used must be clearly advertised on the price list

There is a bus stop right outside my house and I live in Brisbane. It comes every hour, but it’s generally within 5 minutes either side of the scheduled time. And normally even in peak hour it’s alright to get to the city. Although it used to be absolutely terrible not too long ago.

Across the road from my street there is a bus stop and the bus comes every 5 mins

What would Americans call their equivalent of a UK council house (public housing project house)?

OK. In the UK we say that someone lives in a "council house", meaning a house they rent from the local government authority. I want to say this but for an American audience. I suppose I could say that the person lived in one of the projects, or a "project house", but I’d be guessing. So what would an American say?

I am Intrested in buying a house and the house that we chose has a septic system. we dont mind it but someone had told us that we have to switch over to public sewage if its 200 yards from the house. we are wondering if that is true? Please someone help!

No, but the seller must give a disclosure statement where all that should be reported. If you find they deliberately lied on it and can prove it, then you can sue them.

No, it’s not strange at all. He barely knows his aunt and has only seen her a few times – in Kenya. He’s not financially responsible for her and must keep arms length since she’s here illegally until declared a political refugee. He cannot appear to have helped her in that quest.

On the other hand, he knows and is openly affectionate to Michelle’s mother, who’s volunteered to help care for his daughters. She is part of his family.
