KZSW Chief Photographer Chad Buchanan interviews Kevin Kitley, best friend of Sean Vilan, who was fatally shot by off duty Costa Mesa Police officer Scott Dibble outside of the Bank of Mexican food bar after the Temecula Rod Run in 2008. Also shot was Taylor Willis. All of the VO at the scene is stringer footage by Joe Faneselle; the interview and vigil footage was shot by Chad Buchanan. No, Temecula does not technically have their own police department, like Murrieta. They are on contract with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. The cruisers and patches however, say Temecula Police.
