where can one find Indian food and a bar in the same outlet in Kuala Lumpur?
Preferably not one of those expensive hotel outlets, and I’m actually looking for South Indian food. May be in KL or PJ
Many of the South Indian food places do not come with a bar. If you can, go with a member to the Selangor Club where you can have a full bar with great Southern Indian food.
Another place is Soul Out in Seri Hartamas. They have some Indian food although some are northern rather than southern. Drinks there are great though.
well theres Lotus in Pj, section 8 for south indian food rite beside hilton then they have rajoo’s in section 17, pj…
well bar… sorry not a bar person…

most indian restaurants does not come with bars; at least not that i know of.
however u could try Passage to India or Taj Mahal. These two restaurants are located along Jalan Ampang. I’ve been to the Passage to India, nice ambiance. if i can remember, alcoholic drinks are available. These are proper restaurants.

Lakshmi Villas – Located at Lebuh Ampang, Little India. This is the best South Indian cafe in Kuala Lumpur. The ground floor serves various delicious dosais and the first floor specializes in banana-leaf curries. A great place to sample indian cuisine.
