   Engaging stakeholders is important for buy-in, but solutions have to be the goal. The young presenters needed to work a bit more on their presentation – as the politicos mentioned, policy direction is more helpful than talk of “engagement”.

   We’re tired of supporting this nonsustainable system of generational theft. Sometimes you just have to call a spade a spade. Perhaps without SSI people won’t feel comfortable leaving their parents in solitude and destitution while they eat cat food? Perhaps we’ll realize that the government isn’t an honest steward of wealth and fortune? Maybe it’s time to stop robbing people at the end of a gun? Have you no shame?
