My father was also wounded in this battle, and I am so proud of him and all the men in A Troop. This is not about honoring killing and it is not about politics. It is about honoring these men for saving the lives of 100 American soldiers, many of them only 18 or 19 years old, who were surrounded by 400 Vietnamese soldiers and sure to die by morning. Most of these men were sent to Vietnam by their government, they did not ask to go there. They fought in order to stay alive. (Cont’d.)

Obama and other political issues please be respectful in your comments. A lot of the members of the Blackhorse Regiment who did not get to attend this ceremony and their family members are viewing this video. It is the BLACKHORSE REGIMENT who is being honored NOT Pres. Obama. Congrats Guys! This award is long over due!

Ok…seriously…this is a video about a group of courageous men that were given an award for their great bravery and heroism. My dad was included in this group of men and was there yesterday…could you please shut up with the arguing and take it somewhere else? I am very proud of my dad and all the others….CONGRATS to the veterans that received this award and to all the other veterans that need to be recognized for their bravery and courage!
