  4. New Hope, PA. There are a couple breweries there that give you free drinks… so you can just walk down the street to the other brewery after you’ve had your freebie. You’ll need your I.D.

    cheers!

  8. i used to make my own but it is expensive to set up and i found once it matured i was drinking every night so i needed 3 40 pint pressurised barrells on the go, so now i just find good pubs that serve real ale.
    good luck

  9. First of all "free", well…I guess you could go to a friends house and bum off of him/her.
Most beers made in Briton are ales, some micro breweries also produce ales.
Ales are produced by rapidly fermenting yeast that reside near the surface of the fermenting wort. These rapid fermenting yeast produce a variety of by products such as esters which give the drink a fruity smell and pallet.
Beers are produced by slower bottom fermenting yeasts and generally produce less by products giving a cleaner "beer" flavor.

    Wetherspoons

They do try before you buy. Decent portions too, about the same as a double, if the bar attendant is nice!

You can try 4, 5 or even more in one go before moving on to the next wetherspoons! And we all know pub crawls are good exercise for working off those beer bellies!
