Ortiz is a real …
Ortiz is a real live troll, the same guy who drafted the strip club tax, just to get his name in the press.
@ricky0317 this is …
@ricky0317 this is why i am not part of any party !
They ban the salt …
They ban the salt so random people wouldn’t have to throw the salt into their eyes when someone is ticking them off XD
LOL. Cenk cracks me …
LOL. Cenk cracks me up.
0:42.
Priceless.
This is why i’m a …
This is why i’m a libertarian
You can have my …
You can have my salt after you pry it from my cold dead hands.
@Dyne77
1. …
@Dyne77
1. Restaurants generally have too much sodium in food
3. Thought your straw man might be lonely
4. My insults are a response to your insults and you will only be enlightened when you honestly calculate the amount of sodium in a subway sandwich and calculate your daily sodium requirements as an athlete and tell me if you are getting too little sodium in your diet.
How about this …
How about this victim, dont buy junk food if you want a healthy diet. you americans are going nuts like a socialist nation. there are healthy fast food options out there you just dont want to eat that cuz ur a lazy digusting spoilt pig america.
This is one of the …
This is one of the rare times that I absolutely disagree with Cenk.
Our diet has WAY too much sodium. They can ban salt in food at restaurants, and most us will STILL probably have too much sodium in our diets.
If there was a restaurant that guaranteed that it didn’t use any salt, I would definitely choose that restaurant over others.
@badger5079
1. I …
@badger5079
1. I most often eat at Subway; I don’t always have time to eat at home. You seem to be under the impression that restaurant = junk food. Ortiz’s bill would affect bakers, delis, etc., and banning salt would wreak havoc on cooking.
3. Nice straw man.
4. Your insults and irrational assumptions are so enlightening.
I met this clown …
I met this clown Ortiz before the Governor’s state of the union address…didn’t realize he was out of his mind until this lol
I more or less …
I more or less agree with you. TYT were freaking out about it a little more than I would consider necessary. I don’t necessarily advocate salt removal, but we definitely eat way too much salt, much more than we need. Rather than having a bad, asking them not too cook with excess salt or just salting your food after it comes to the table seems more than reasonable.
of course… cops …
of course… cops taze any chance they get
lol, but seriously …
lol, but seriously COOK
So if you sneak …
So if you sneak some salt into the restaraunt for your food.. will you get tasered, bro?
4. I wish you luck …
4. I wish you luck with your athletic endeavours. You will need it if you eat the typical heavily pre-salted restaurant food 4-5 times per week!
I have had a nice workout myself running rings around your illogical arguments. Keep up the athletics because you are not exactly MENSA material.
3. If I were to …
3. If I were to follow the logic of your argument, athletes should eat lots of sugary and fatty foods, since these contain high levels of energy. Oreos, tiramisu, fried chicken, bacon, pizza and lard would be the breakfast of every champion! Perhaps athletes should also smoke pot and drink beer since athletes need to be able to relax in between training!
1. What food do you …
1. What food do you eat in the restaurant 4 or 5 times per week?
2. Most people in the west consume too much salt. Athletes do not generally have to add salt to their diets to make up for losses incurred during their athletics activities.
I don’t advocate …
I don’t advocate that all salt should be removed from food. Humans need salt, of course. My point is that in Western society, we generally consume too much salt and certainly most restaurants add too much salt to food. Anyway, if you want to add salt to the food at the table, there is nothing stopping you. In a strange way, this law would give people more choice. You can choose to add salt to your food or leave it unsalted…as opposed to having only pre-salted food on offer.
@badger5079
1. Yes …
@badger5079
1. Yes, I depend on it for my nutrition 4 or 5 times a week.
3. I do care about my nutrition. Not all restaurant food is unhealthy.
4. Different people have different nutritional needs. You seem to be incapable of understanding my point, so I won’t bother arguing with you anymore.
I will close with this: instead of limiting salt, it would probably be healthier for people to simply get more exercise. But people are too lazy, and they take no responsibility for their own actions.
Thats what happens …
Thats what happens when liberals are allowed to vote. They F*** everything up and turn america from a free nation to a socialist dictatorship. Liberals will not be happy until every neccesity is taxed away to the point everyone is starving and we are enslaved robots for the state.
YES CENK, EVEN TOFU WILL BE TAXED
GET THE OUTTA …
GET THE OUTTA MY FOOD TOO
Whatever helps you …
Whatever helps you sleep at night I suppose.
The goverment gets …
The goverment gets loans from other countrys to cover the deficit, the post office gets money from goverment to cover it’s deficits, THAT WOULD BE THE TAXPAYERS YOU MORON!
1. Do you depend …
1. Do you depend upon restaurant food for your nutrition?
2. Your blood pressure is low despite your salt intake. It is likely to be partly due to exercise.
3. As an athlete, you should care about nutrition. If you don’t know what restaurant food contains then you need to find out.
4. My dad eats at restaurants. My dad has high blood pressure. Therefore, you are flat out wrong. Hopefully you can see that there is a logic gap in your argument that I have mirrored.
