As a high raw vegan, the best restaraunts (and there are 3 in my area!) are Chinese buffets. There is vegan sushi, steamed rice, fruit (pineapple, mango, melon, etc.), and a salad bar (fresh veggies, beans, olives, etc.) It’s great- and I get to eat as much of it as I want!

I do not eat out …
I do not eat out but I do know some tips.

Scan the menu, see whatever veggies they have listed on their menu, raw and cooked, and then ask what they can provide raw and create a raw veggie assortment platter/dish for you. Most places have no problem doing this type of custom salad. Then they have the basic rule of thumbs: Chinese: lightly steamed or wok’d no salt veggie dishes… Indian and Middle Eastern: legume dishes… Japanese: seaweed dishes, miso… Italian:grilled veggies, salads
