Everyone knows a bar or tavern is a place that can create relationships. You can go in for a drink, and come out with someone on your arm! But the real question is how good are these get togethers really? After tipping a few most people’s resistance (or *common sense*) is deteriorated, and opens the door to chat with and mingle with people you’d normally not be so friendly with. In the movies, your prince charming would be watching over your shoulder as you made a fool of yourself, and would step in to save you when things got bad. But more likely in reality you’ll wake-up next to a toad that seemed so wonderful last night.

Around here, they find friends, food and drinks in the local taverns and bars. If they meet someone who’s willing, they go somewhere else for the ‘main event’!

Some people can find sex pretty much anywhere – I’ve known of people who go to church to scout out prospects.
So a tavern seems as likely a place an anywhere – especially since a lot of the folks are no longer sober, and other people often look better when you’re drunk
