why don’t taverns have changing tables in the restrooms?

would this be considered discrimination?

My mommy just uses the floor when we go to the tavern every night.I like to find ciggie butts down there and chew them, too!

  3. Because most ‘babies’ aren’t over the age of 21 with a legitimate ID to even enter the bar, so there is no need to have a changing table?
Unless of course, you are referring so someone who drinks themself silly and needs someone to change their diaper.

  4. Some do – at least the ones which are restaurants also. Honestly, I think you’re just being silly though.

Just use the bar, silly. Or the shuffleboard table. The shuffleboard table comes with free baby powder.

    EDIT:
I find that Hooters is a very baby friendly restaurant. When I walk in there with my baby, it’s like a boob fest for her. She is very happy being passed from one Hooter chick to the next.

  9. Because it’s not exactly an environment that wants to encourage people to bring their children to?

Yes, I know where I live that if they have a kitchen and serve food they can not stop minors or parents with children from coming in until 8pm (they used to have to close the kitchens down to keep the minors out at night). However, if I am going out to eat with my child, a tavern is not going to be my first choice to go. Secondly if I have my child with me, I do not need to consume any alcohol so again no need to go to a tavern. 3rd, if this tavern is the cheapest and best place to go or is my only option, I’m not gonna b**ch that there’s no changing table in the washroom. I will however complain when I find a Tim Horton’s or public mall washroom that doesn’t offer those accommodations!
